The original ARRMA® OUTCAST™ 4X4 4S BLX stunt truck offered the perfect middle ground between the nimble 3S BLX vehicles and the larger, more powerful 6S BLX machines. It delivered affordable, comprehensive stunt performance for bashers looking for an upgrade after their first brush-engine vehicle, and for any rider craving ARRMA® toughness and speed.
This new version marks the next evolutionary step in the powerful ARRMA® 4X4 4S platform - longer, wider and more robust than the previous chassis for even more stability and control. It also includes a full Spektrum™ electronics package and is the first ARRMA® 4x4 to feature a brushless Spektrum™ 4S drive system.
The footprint of this OUTCAST™ 4X4 4S BLX stunt truck is 17% larger than the previous model, with higher shock towers, longer shocks and wider control arms for longer, smoother suspension travel. Transmission stability has been strengthened with the addition of steel input gears, steel main diff gears and CVD driveshafts. For unstoppable off-road performance on dust and grass to parking lots and paved surfaces, the upgrades are complemented by proven previous features. These include a strong composite chassis and retained hinge pin plates; skid plates front and rear; steering with more ground clearance for rocks; a crown-shaped slipper pad and sliding gear teeth; and rubber-sealed bearings throughout. Durable dBoots® back-flip low-profile tires and medium-density foam inserts provide an aggressive tread pattern for excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. Vintage truck body has a tough, injection-molded rear spoiler and comes factory-installed in two exciting color schemes. Front and rear bumpers protect against impacts and a wheelie bar with rubber tires offers powerful stunt potential.
The ready-to-run package is completed with a Spektrum™ SLT3™ 2.4 GHz remote control with SR315 receiver and a stronger, faster Spektrum™ S652 digital servo.
