Originally a 1937 International, the 1:1 Trophy Rat gobbled up over 1500 hours of work from initial concept to completion. The goal was to find the perfect mix between Trophy Truck and Rat Rod, powered by an LS6 Corvette engine, to be used as a daily driver, for King of the Hammers or a few quick laps on the track.
Team Associated Replica of Northrup Fabrications Trophy Rat is built on the 9-time ROAR Short Course Nationals winning truck. This means that the Trophy Rat is ready for anything: Show and Racing
The truck comes assembled ready to run and comes standard with a water protected high power Reedy brushless controller as well as a 3300kV brushless motor and a 2.4GHz remote steering system with the BRAND NEW DVC (Dynamic Vehicle Control) receiver with built-in and adjustable gyro system that ensures perfect vehicle control even in difficult terrain. A Reedy digital steering servo and LED lights front and rear complete the Trophy Rat package.
The suspension received an upgrade in the form of adjustable aluminum V2 12mm big bore shocks. The transmission is equipped with a sealed heavy-duty bevel gear differential and 81mm CVA driveshafts provide excellent traction. Hexagonal rim drivers and realistic off-road tires and rims keep the truck securely on the ground
