ARRMA ® engineers have given the TYPHON™ 6S BLX 4WD speed buggy a brushless drive system with Spektrum™ Company™ 150A Smart controller and Company™ 2050Kv brushless motor. Unleash incredible torque, acceleration and speed with this combination, and the heavy-duty aluminum and steel chassis and gearbox components turn it all into pure action. For improved steering, ARRMA® now installs a new steel-gear Spektrum™ S652 digital servo - which is 32% stronger and 5% faster than the previous version's ADS-15M servo. With the 4S or 6S LiPo battery of your choice, the monster truck exceeds your wildest speed expectations as with the included speed sprocket and a 6S LiPo, the truck reaches over 96km/h under optimal conditions!
The ready-to-run package now also includes a 3-channel Spektrum™ SLT3™ transmitter and Spektrum™ SR315 dual-protocol receiver. The ergonomic design of the transmitter is perfect for many hours of fatigue-free bashing and features a foam steering wheel for precise fingertip control and an improved hand grip and trigger. New drivers can limit the throttle to 50% or 75% until they feel ready to use the buggy to its full potential. The SLT3™ transmitter is compatible with Tactic® SLT™ receivers, so you can use it to control other RTR vehicles you may already own. It also has a third channel that allows you to control additional functions such as lights or winches on your models. Since the SR315 receiver can use SLT™ and DSMR® protocols, you can easily upgrade to a Spektrum™ DSMR® transmitter later - then download the free Spektrum™ Dashboard™ app for your phone and take full advantage of the smart telemetry features already available in the Firma™ electronics. You'll see real-time data on ESC temperature, receiver voltage (BEC), drive battery voltage and motor speed
Adjustable oil-pressure shocks soak up shocks and bumps as you cruise your KRATON™ 6S BLX 4WD Speed Monster Truck over dirt, tar or grass. The shocks are mounted to black anodized shock towers. The multi-spoke wheels have already been fitted with the super aggressive multi-terrain dBoots® COPPERHEAD 2™ tires, and the high-performance, high-pressure spoiler keeps the truck grounded. Tires and spoiler help keep you in control even at breathtaking speeds.
To withstand the immense power of the brushless drivetrain, ARRMA® relies on a reinforced and anodized aluminum chassis as the base for the KRATON™ 6S BLX 4WD. A central body support, aluminum center support and plastic side panels provide additional strength. Metal differential outputs and gears, along with durable steel driveshafts, help the heavy-duty drivetrain stand up to the toughest bashing. The zero-backlash aluminum servo saver and secured ball heads give you more precision and reliability, giving you greater confidence in the steering.
ARRMA® reduces maintenance time to a minimum with an efficient and driver-friendly concept. An engine mount skid provides quick and easy access to the engine. The central differential is easily accessible and can be removed by loosening just a few bolts. Topping it all off is the streamlined monster truck body that just looks good with its red/black or blue/black paint scheme and detailed decals.
