Team Associated DR10M - Better straight line, better traction, better handling thanks to mid-engine.
The new Team Associated DR10M RC dragster's four-speed mid-engine transmission uses the engine's torque to push the rear tires to the ground. During acceleration, the engine's direction of rotation shifts more mass toward the rear of the vehicle, increasing the contact area between the tires and the road and boosting traction on the DR10M's rear axle.
The mid-engine design shifts the weight transfer forward, reducing the load on the front axle. Since the direction of rotation of the engine and tires is identical, forward torque increases and the car is catapulted faster towards the finish line.
The Team Associated DR10M Drag Race Team Kit is based on the successful DR10 drag race platform. The DR10M Team Kit features a rear stabilizer, 28 precision ball bearings, fully adjustable suspension, vertical ball heads for roll center adjustment, a 2.6:1 internal ratio transmission with a robust sealed cone differential, and an externally adjustable V2 slipper clutch. The new Octalock main gear, in conjunction with the 11mm Octalock slipper pads, can transmit more torque for the most consistency.
