overview
A small budget doesn't have to mean you have to settle for less than the best. The Spektrum DX6e gives you the unbeatable responsiveness of DSMX® technology, the simplicity of Spektrum™ AirWare™ programming software, and many other features you won't find on other "budget" radios.
Airplane, Helicopter, Glider and Multirotor Programming
The DX6e comes equipped with the programming you need to fly just about anything. And since the DX6e is based on the same Spektrum AirWare software used in most other Spektrum transmitters, you can share your model setups with just about any Spektrum user you meet
AIRCRAFT PROGRAMMING
- 7 Wing Types: Normal, Dual Aileron, Flaperon, 1 Aileron 1 Flap, 2 Aileron 1 Flap, Elevon A, Elevon B
- 6 Tail types: Normal, V-tail A, V-tail B, dual elevator, dual rudder, dual rudder/elevator
- flap system with elevator compensation
- 3 flight modes
- two speeds and expo
- 7-point throttle curve
- 3 preset mixes: Rudder to aileron/elevator, aileron to rudder, elevator to rudder
- 4 programmable mixes - normal or curve
HELICOPTER PROGRAMMING

- multirotor checklists and warnings
- simplified multirotor flight mode setup and switch assignment
250-Model Memory
The DX6e's massive memory capacity means you rarely, if ever, have to juggle models between transmitter memory and your SD card. The model memory menu is also easy to navigate. Only memory locations where model settings are stored are displayed. You don't have to scroll through empty memory locations or move models around if one has been deleted.
Built-in telemetry
The built-in telemetry function provides you with real-time information about battery voltage, signal quality, engine temperature, and more.* You can also program alerts to inform you when certain telemetry values reach or exceed limits you define
*Requires telemetry sensors and a telemetry-enabled receiver.
Wireless Trainer Link
Wireless Trainer Link gives the instructor the ability to wirelessly "pair" (buddy box) with another DSMX transmitter. Once the DX6e is connected to another transmitter, ModelMatch™ technology allows reconnection without having to go through the binding process again.
Patent Pending Gimbal Design with Spring Configuration Switch
The DX6e's patent pending gimbal design allows the gimbal spring configuration to be changed by simply sliding a slide switch on the back of the transmitter. No tools are required. Simply select the spring configuration that matches the mode you are using and the type of model you are flying. That's it.
There are four spring configurations to choose from:
- normal throttle for modes 2 and 4 (airplane, helicopter and glider models)
- spring centered throttle for modes 2 and 4 (multirotor model type)
- spring centered throttle for modes 1 and 3 (multirotor model type)
- normal throttle for modes 1 and 3 (airplane, helicopter and glider model types)
The slide switch is protected by a hinged cover that prevents you from accidentally changing the spring configuration in flight.
