StreetRacing--An unsanctioned form of auto racing on public streets.Street racing is decades old and began well before the invention of the automobile, but automobile racing began from the moment the second car was built.
Modern street racing has its roots on Woodward Avenue, Michigan, where the three major Detroit car brands produced high-powered vehicles in the 1960s. Privately accessible racetracks were rare at the time, so racing simply moved to public roads.
The Team Associated DR10 Drag Race Car is based on the 9-time ROAR Short Course Nationals winner and features a waterproof high-power Reedy brushless system with 3300kV brushless motor, 2.4GHz remote control and the all-new DVC Dynamic Vehicle Control receiver with built-in and adjustable gyro. Also included as standard are a Reedy high-torque steering servo with metal gears, and a waterproof receiver box.
