Bigger than big and engineered for brute power and steadfastness, the ARRMA® 1/5 KRATON ™ 8S BLX 4WD Speed Monster Truck is your bashing boss. Thanks to its metal-reinforced design, you'll plow over and through any obstacles that get in your way. Metal shafts, turnbuckles and outdrives, and full metal gears give the drive and suspension system unstoppable power. The anodized aluminum chassis plate features composite side pods and a triangular center brace for maximum durability. Ultra-thick composite front and rear shock towers hold massive 20mm bore oil-filled adjustable shocks that literally soak up shocks and bumps.
The power with which the KRATON™ 8S BLX 4WD Speed Monster Truck easily takes on the toughest terrain comes from its brushless 1250 kV Spectrum ™ Company ™ engine. It provides torque and acceleration that are second to none. For quick access, the motor is mounted on a sliding aluminum bracket with three screws.
The waterproof electronics module - also designed for easy access - protects the innovative Spektrum ™ equipment. ARRMA® equipped the KRATON ™ 8S BLX 4WD Speed Monster Truck with a state-of-the-art Firma ™ SMART 160A ESC and SR6100AT AVC® (Active Vehicle Control®) receiver. Innovative connectivity allows all SMART electronics to send valuable telemetry data to the included Spektrum ™ DX2E Active® transmitter without the need for multiple cables, sensors, modules and connections. Simply download the free Spektrum ™ Dashboard app to your mobile device, which connects wirelessly to the DX2E transmitter via Bluetooth. Then you can view real-time motor speed, ESC temperature, receiver voltage, drive pack voltage, and more.
The ultra-rugged KRATON ™ truck body with high-downforce spoiler is available from the factory in two eye-catching colors. A central guard on the chassis is connected to the roll cage to increase body durability. The whole thing rolls on multi-split spoke wheels with strong, durable aluminum wheel hubs and multi-terrain dBoots® COPPERHEAD™ 2 SB tires with a tread pattern for extreme off-road action.
