Extreme ruggedness and insane speeds of 80+ KMH set the ready-to-drive 1/10th scale SENTON™ 4X4 3S BLX Short Course model apart from the rest of the pack. Precision aluminum, rugged steel and composite materials combine to create a low-maintenance, ultra-durable vehicle design that has now been further enhanced to add to the already impressive performance and durability of the original Short Course truck.
The SENTON™ 4X4 3S BLX RTR is DESIGNED FAST, DESIGNED TOUGH - built for exhilarating bashing speeds and extreme, off-road durability. New features that enhance its unstoppable performance include a stronger chassis and retained hinge pin plates, steering with more clearance for rocks, a molded slipper pad and sliding gears, and rubber-shielded bearings throughout.
It is also now equipped with a Spektrum™ SLT3™ transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for long, fatigue-free bashing and features a foam wheel for precise fingertip control, as well as an improved grip and trigger feel. New bashers can set the throttle limit to 50% or 75% until they are ready to use the full speed potential. The SLT3™ is compatible with Tactic® SLT™ receivers to power other RTR vehicles you may own, and includes a third channel to control optional features like lights and winches on models that have them
ARRMA® now powers the SENTON™ 4X4 3S BLX with a brushless system that includes its BLX100 ESC and Spektrum™ Firma™ 3200Kv brushless motor. The combination offers incredible torque, acceleration and speed. The gearbox and chassis are robustly designed to take full advantage of the power of the electronics.
It features the sophisticated modular design perfected by ARRMA® engineers for easy component access and maintenance. The power module with improved dirt management consists of the motor with ARRMA® heat sink and fan as well as motor plate, slipping clutch assembly and gearbox cover. The power module can be removed from the chassis as a complete unit by removing a single bolt. With the power module removed, the slipping clutch can be easily accessed for adjustments by loosening three screws that secure the gear cover. The gear ratio can be fine-tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor engagement.
A two-piece molded part bolted to the truck's chassis serves as the electronics module, which includes a waterproof receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver is mounted inside the receiver box to protect it from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact controller screws onto the top of the module for quick access to the on/off switch, while the servo mounts on the side. All three components can be removed together, quickly and easily
The differential module houses each differential unit in an innovative yoke design. Only eight bolts need to be removed to release the front and rear yokes. The power module can then be removed, allowing you to swing the transmission cases for access to the differential. The SENTON™ 4X4 3S BLX RTR comes brushless with 37T 1.35mod differentials with silicone o-rings. The large gears can withstand tremendous torque, and the internal metal gears were chosen for reliability under extreme bashing.
The full time 4WD transmission uses strong telescopic driveshafts front, rear and centerline that can't be lost in heavy bashing, unlike dogbones. Simple, reliable and responsive steering complements the ultra-reliable drive system and features a servo horn with built-in servo saver. The SENTON™ 4X4 3S BLX RTR includes the Spektrum™ SPMS651 waterproof digital servo with metal gears for 15% more torque than the previous version's ADS-7M servo
The self-venting, oil-filled shocks, now with silicone O-rings, use a proven, coil-over design for easy maintenance and amazing handling. Their innovative rod end has a molded-in spring pocket for added strength. Raised dirt deflectors and a tight-fitting body limit the amount of dirt and debris that can enter the chassis pan. Front and rear bumpers provide protection from impacts.
Rugged, gunmetal-colored multi-spoke wheels with ventilated dBoots® Fortress™ SC tires give the 1/10th scale SENTON™ 4X4 3S BLX RTR Short Course Truck effective traction for bashing on virtually any terrain. The aggressively styled Short Course Truck body - available in blue/black or red/black - looks great in action and even better up close, where the attention to detail on the decal and body aesthetic really shines.
